Cooking Spree!

Well, as all of you might know already, bubby's back in Malaysia. Leaving me in Melbourne.
I'm not as lonely, because I have friends around! yay!

Was in Huishen's for the past few days. haha! We decided to cook yummy food everyday. =D

It all started with Yueji's idea of cooking fish and chips. from SCRATCH.
What a 'ma fan' thing.

See the tray of chips over there.. I actually cut strips from a potato and fry them. =.=

Anyway.. haha, it was a very nice dinner.

Then there was this bibimbab. I cooked it! =)

People, I'm finally back in Melbourne.

Trips.

Yay. My tour-around-australia-trip has officially started. Sydney -> Cairns -> Brisbane (gold coast)

First stop: Sydney.

The first day was a bit of chaos. =.=

Our flight was 8.15 a.m, and the earliest train for sunday is 7.30 a.m O.O

Me and bubby got so nervous and kept calling everyone we know that can possibly fetch us to Southern Cross station so that we can catch the sky bus and reach the airport on time, but it seems like no one is free to fetch us so early in the morning.

We tried calling the taxi for GOD KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES. no one ever pick up the call.

We finally stopped trying and decided to try our luck to wait for a cab at the train station.

So we got up 5 a.m in the morning (I slept around 3 something) and went to the station to wait for the cab.

THANK GOD there's ONE cab waiting there!!!!! OMG. you won't believe how thankful I was. =D We end up reaching the airport before 6. LOL.

Anyway, reached sydney around 10 in the morning. Yueji came and pick us up.

Went for McDonald's and went home. Slept like a pig.

Woke up for dinner in the city. Chat Thai. So yummy.

Then we went to Darling Harbour.

Day 2: Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach.

We took the bus ourselves today! Yueji has got class. haha! Proud of ourselves.

Bondi Beach. Nice sand.

Another long day tomorrow. Good night!

I just finished two exams today. Totally K.O-ed.

It's really tiring to have two exams on the same day, and another on the next day.

The second test was okay. I just crap all my way through. Like, seriously. =.=

Groceries.

I woke up early this morning! It's a beautiful day!

So I thought, I should totally go for my grocery shopping. (I ran out of food. aiks.)

And so, dressed up all pretty and off I go.

I went out around 9.30 a.m. No one's even awake when I walked out of my room. haha!

I really enjoyed the beautiful morning and my alone-ness and peaceful-ness.

Then, with my good mood, I bought A LOT of stuffs. omg.
I spent like, more than twice the amount I would normally spend on groceries. Oopsie!
I reached home around 11.30. Went grocery shopping for two hours. LOL..

I am not sure why am I feeling like this. Don't even bother asking me what kind of feeling is this, because I don't even know.
It feels a little insecure, a little confused, a little exhausted, a little mood-less.
I had this feeling few days ago and I thought that was pms. and it was.

I can't even explain.

Where was I?

I really did enjoyed myself for the past few days.
Where was I?
You'd probably notice, I went to Perth. =D

It's fun getting there. Got to stay at Bubby's uncle's house (which I will blog about it sometime soon, I hope), eat play sleep. Eat play sleep. Eat play sleep.
Oh wait, I forgot something really important. Assignments.

I guess the only thing that made a student's life miserable is assignments. I rather have final exams than assignments. (I think)

Anyway, I'm back home already. Ahh, Melbourne. How nice to call it my home. =)

Life sucks lately. Sigh.

Feel depressed all of a sudden.

Too busy. Too many assignments.

Exam timetable sucks.

The best thing lately was that I just spent a bomb the other day to buy 2 Swarovski Crystal charm.

That doesn't make me feel very happy now. Sigh.

Very Malaysian

So there's this one evening, where Bubby and me decided to have dinner at Glen Waverly since we need to go there so that Daniel can come and pick us up.
(btw, Glen Waverly is a place in Melbourne. Daniel is bubby's cousin)

Anyway. We had our yummy malaysian food.
I ate 'yong tou foo' and bubby ate 'fish head noodles'
No pictures though. But they taste nice!

So we finished early and decided to walk around Glen Waverly and came across an asian grocery. We went in and discovered something.

I was SO surprised when I saw this.

DODOL!!!

I know right. Then I found something on the shelve above this.
It's Penang production. hahaha!

And we continued to walk and discover more Malaysian stuffs, so I just took some pictures. =D
